Is there a way to watch this other than subscribing to yet another streaming service (GCN+)?

I thought this was on NBC Sport like the TDF.

This was a fun TDF - glad that one is settled - on to the next one!

Is there anyone that can reasonably challenge Pog for the foreseeable future? He is currently a Ganna level time trialist, a Contador level climber and can hold his own to get podiums on sprint stages (I think he came 3rd or 4th in Stage 1) all at 22. Unless a serious injury happens, he's so young that he should be performing at this level for at least a decade.

Ineos and Jumbo need to organize a Porte/Vingegaard attack early in a stage. Then you don't need to drop him, you just overwhelm his team.

Yes, no way Pog can hang on with no teammates in the face of a JV or Ineos tra...looks at 2020 highlights...oh.

When will Roglic start riding for WVA?

2) MvdP
3) WVA

It's the future.

Pogacar :stare:

He's going to win every jersey except green. He's going to win the next 10 of these.

This was more impressive than Froome destroying everyone at the Giro a few years ago, which was to post impressive feat I had seen in a cycling race.

Also he's a skinny 12 year old boy who weighs like 30 kilos.

It bothered the total poo poo out of me when Sky would pull these 7foot tall 100 kilo TT specialists over the top more because it seemed so unbelievable.

Tiny dudes climbing hills I am all for.

Skinny 12 year old can also take on the field in a flat ITT without breaking a sweat.

I do wonder if he is quasi human and just went for it all right now and the field will claw back some time over the remainder of the TDF, kind of similar to Bernal at the Giro this year .

Pog is probably doped to the gills but so is every other professional athlete and at least he's fun to watch. The years of a final selection of 10 guys riding up a mountain with 4 sky riders on the front neutralizing everything were just incredibly boring and I'll take this any day.

I dont disagree. Though the Giro was a lot of fun this year with Martinez dragging a clearly exhausted Bernal up the mountain.

Not quite the Sky trains of the past, but still fun teamwork.

The Giro was good because Bernal rode an incredibly un-Sky race. He attacked rather than just reacting, he went solo, he yo-yo'd around in his quality from day to day. He looked good, but not like a robot built to win bike races.

We will see if Pogacar actually shows some weakness like Bernal in the Giro. Right now all signs point to him being an Armstrong like terminator.

The Vuelta is going to be great, with Pogacar and Bernal.

Because the Tour and Giro were really boring from a GC standpoint

Bernal struggled in the back half of the Giro, he looked tired and human - he doesn't seem like he would be a threat to T-1000 Pogacar at all based on his Giro performance.
