Adding "Lil" to your name makes you sound lame af. Unless you are a big fat dude. Maybe he is just ashamed of it.

Maybe he decided to take the money and disappear like a bank robber out on old town road?

When he realised the chorus hook to his post gimmick one hit was "hey panini don't you be a meanie" it dawned on him that maybe rap isn't his real calling now he has the fame to cruise on.

Chinatown posted:what does the X stand for? Differentiation from Nas while still not being creative enough to not use the same name as an all time legendary rapper. Not doing so risks legal trouble and beef since it could be argued he was trying to profit by faking a familial tie or protege status to Nas. Even Soulja Boy had to officially go by Soulja Boy Tell 'Em to mitigate issues with much lesser known rapper Soulja Boy of Mo Thugs Family. Also many young rappers names are now literally social media handles they chose as kids, and lil nas without an X was for sure already taken.

Network-attached storage (NAS) is a file-level (as opposed to block-level) computer data storage server connected to a computer network providing data access to a heterogeneous group of clients. NAS is specialized for serving files either by its hardware, software, or configuration.

Something else to keep in mind: the reason these young rappers all suck at rapping is because they aren't rappers. They are social media stars using quickly produced songs to monetize their followers. Even blindingly white and musically disinclined Logan and Jake Paul have released rap songs. I'll give Old Town Road credit for being an actual song in comparison to stuff by Tekashi6ix9ine (another obvious username lol), but Lil Nas X is absolutely famous by virtue of his talent for social media. He had minor Twitter fame first, then Old Town Road was designed for Tik Tok. It lets people shoot themselves dressed up or acting like cowboys, riding a horse, pretending to ride a horse, riding something else, travelling down a road, comically interacting with old people etc. He then kept it charting by "remixing" it repeatedly with different guests, keeping it talked about and dragging in other fan bases and demographics. Then, if they get enough fame and they can be arsed to they can buy ghost writers and appear in guest spots with aging rappers looking to get a foot in with the next gen market. That's how this works now, and it's not as if they don't have talent, it's just that their talent is understanding how to manipulate a poo poo world that is too online.
