It's way dumber than I expected. Mulder makes huge leaps of logic with like 1 little clue, and Scully is supposed to be smart but she refuses to process any thing she sees. I don't know why I skipped it as a teen. I guess I thought it was more serious. Seeing well known acters in bit parts is fun. Scully is super hot but kind of a bad actress so far. Seems like it's gonna be a good show to watch while high.

Yeah, I can see that. I think I retain enough of my slacker teenage self to appreciate the nostalgia though. Seth Green just had a cameo as a dumb, grungy stoner and they nailed the asthetic better than most other shows of the era and way better than when they try to do it now. Good fun. My biggest disappointment so far is that it's all about UFO's and for some reason I thought it was about chupacabras and poo poo. I bet that comes later

I just remembered this lovely warehouse job I had in the 90's. There was a vote on whether Jillian Anderson or Cameron Diaz was hotter, and one guy on team Diaz got so mad when she lost that he stopped talking to all the Jillian fans for a few weeks.

Im just gonna watch them all in order while I do other poo poo and pay attention in proportion to how good it is. I was all excited to see the Jersey Devil episode because it was gonna be MOTW goodness, but it wasn't really that exciting at all. Best part of the series so far was Mulder crying in the church while he listened to a recording of the interview they gave him that he can't remember because the erased a bit of his brain.

Holy poo poo there's like 24 episodes per season. No wonder the quality is so hit or miss. Just finished the episode where the federal agent and the back robber were sharing the same body. When the doctor gave up resuscitating the agent, Scully was all like, "Hell No, I won't let him die!" and kept jolting him and giving him shots to the heart and refused to let him die. Later on when he passes out from a diabetic coma, she just kinda shrugs and accepts that he's dead and gets on with her life. This show is so dumb lol.

Just finished the Manitou episode. Much higher quality than most of the previous stuff. The episode where they find out Mulder's informant was a big fat liar was pretty cool too.
