Whaddaya guise think of this dude? I think his stand up is pretty funny but his podcast with his wife "Your Mom's House" is kind of insufferable sometimes. They talk a lot about farts and poop sometimes for like a good 45 minutes.

Your Mom's House is endeering and charming. They have great guests, but I totally agree, Christina P, and the fart Mic, it's like, I appreciate it, but naah I'm cool. The tik tok thing is a uncomfortable because they're making fun of the mentally disabled. I guess the episode depends on the guest and heavily depends on it no matter how they try to steer it. It's a good show to fall asleep to, I watch it on YouTube and don't mind missing any if I do doze off. The Best Kreichler one is more mature, but less structured, and I like the feel of just hanging out and talking. I use it for background stuff while I'm focusing on something else since it's usually a hangout anyway. I caught 2 bears 1 cave, turns out Bert and I share a love of declitage, it was ok, not as good and structured as ymh,

Your mom's house podcast is the most uninteresting garbage imaginable. Like its as if morning zoo DJs were in a room with a high c02 concentration and they had been exposed to huge amounts of lead. Also they took some horse before the show started.

TBH the only podcast I really listen to with any regularity is Uhh Yeah Dude. Podcasts like YMH and even JRE tend to break the format by showing videos from the internet and commenting on them. I get that they film in studio but the reason I like the podcast genre is that I can put it on during a long day of kitchen prep and just have it going in the background without engaging visually.

Anyway, I saw a thread named after a comedian and assumed that he either said some dumb poo poo complaining about snowflakes and/or LGBT kids existing or was exposed as a sexual assailant. I agree with the need of having human (funny) conversation while we focus. I paint portraits as a side gig, and I absolutely love comedy. I keep up with comedy central presents. I love emerging comedians, and I love the idea of being a supportive groupie. I live in the LA Area if you would like to me to come* supportive audience member. I'm a good audience, but bad performer as I am shy and can't land a joke. I do have experiences and stroies that can help writers, but other than that, I can help write nd support. I work graveyard and ymh helps me engage and fall asleep. I thought about doing stand up myself, but I need help with writi g and delivery. i think good comedians have bad podcasts and vice versa as a rule of thumb for instance - its funny that nick mullen is probably suicidal about never getting fame from standup and knowing his greatest success is a podcast about cum

I agree with the previous goon, YMH is decent background noise. I have mixed feelings about Dr. Drew (not sure why he thought it was a good idea to go on Ben Shapiro's show other than exposure) and I don't know who the gently caress the Honeydew guy is. Also Segura's a p good Louis CK replacement. His bit about the unmarked building with a porn store in it kills me every time. I've kind of put that dream on hold while I try to change careers. I've recoiled back to a more pedestrian hobby of learning piano. Playing out at comedy clubs just doesn't really fit with my life at the moment. I'm a full time chef and the end of the year in QLD is bananas. I'm still writing some stuff though and hope to shop it in the new year.
