Cream was a kickass band that suffered from lousy studio production. Good job making one of the loudest drummers in rock sound like he was recorded in a cardboard box.

my dad likes to watch that cream reunion concert on dvd and everytime he plays it he always pauses it halfway through the first song and says "they're called cream because each was the best at what they did. ginger baker is the best drummer," but then he yells shut the gently caress up at the tv and skips to the next song when ginger baker starts doing that spoken word song about the headshop

I don't know if there's an album as early & influential as Fresh Cream that demonstrated the possibilities of the dynamic range of rock drumming. If you're some kind of Tool-loving failson or miscreant metalhead you owe it to yourself and to the spiritual dad of your taste in music to turn that poo poo up.
