 Yes, it's true. 15 years and 307 episodes later, Supernatural is coming to an end. Season 15 will be its last. Now I'll never get to see geriatric Sam and Dean hunting ghosts in their retirement home.  THE ROAD SO FAR The epic journey of the Winchester brothers come to a close as Supernatural enters its final season. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have battled demons and angels, mythical creatures and monsters, in a seemingly unending quest to save the world. But in the final battle of the show's 14th season, they face off against God Himself (Rob Benedict), refusing to kill their surrogate nephilim son Jack (Alexander Calvert), and thus bringing about God's decision to end this reality once and for all... Current status of Team Free Will (+others): Mary: Obliterated at the atomic level by an out-of-control Jack. Quite possibly the only character that is not coming back (until she does) Dean: Devastated by the loss of his mother, Dean sees no other option but to kill an increasingly powerful and now-soulless Jack. Chuck gives him a special gun that can kill anything, but will inflict the same damage on the shooter as the shootee. Dean realizes he can't shoot Jack, angering Chuck. Realizes Chuck has been playing them all along. Sam: Shoots Chuck with the Equalizer, which does nothing but injure himself and bring on the 3rd? 4th? apocalypse. Nice work, Sam. Castiel: Prayed to Chuck to help them stop Jack. Probably regrets that now. Chuck: He's back, he's pissed, and he's decided to rage quit the whole "God" thing. His experiment with this iteration of Earth is over. He's opened the gates of Hell and let out every evil thing the Winchester's put in there. Jack: Since he burned away what remained of his human soul, he's ended up in The Empty after being killed by Chuck. Death stops by to say they have work to do, and camera fades to black... There are some incredible episodes in season 13 (Baby, Scoobynatural) so if you're going to skip things, at least watch those. But really, I wouldn't skip anything. At least from this podcast, it sounds more like he was frustrated at being paid less for being a series regular vs guest star, and may have left over that, and not any kind of drama with the producers. He does talk about his last episode and how some lines he wrote himself were cut. Kinda seemed like he personally thought bringing Crowley back from the dead would do the character a disservice, but I feel more hopeful now that they might be able to get him back for an ep or two than before I listened.

So uhhh what the hell was going on in that episode? The daughter is mad at her dad because her mom died so she takes it out on the church parishioners? Except the mom died from some kind of illness...?? And we're supposed to believe this teenager is some kind of electronics/engineering wiz to pull off all these murders I guess lmao. Also how did the crossroads demon just walk right by Cas and be Jack and they didn't even recognize him??? Not great

Kinda hope they get old death back, he was awesome -Bloody handprint on Dean's shoulder was a pretty cool callback -Half expected Jack to disappear at the end there too -I guess Chuck creating Hell on Earth and killing literally everyone but Sam and Dean works out real well while you're filming during a pandemic -They're gonna bring Cas back for the finale, right?

I am totally aware of Destiel shippers but I guess I didn't really see it as a confession of romantic love. I think the thing he wanted but knew he could never have was family-even at the end there Dean is saying they should have stayed with Sam and Jack. Seems like no matter what is going on, some member of the group is in peril/hosed off somewhere/etc and they're never all actually together. Same thing happened with Sam and Dean through most of the series, they only got both their dad and mom back for a single day thanks to magic. But I'm fine if people want to interpret it the other way too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ definitely should have been Jack instead of Cas tho

Dean is the most hetero dude on the whole show, and I don't really think there has ever been a moment of sexual ambiguity between them in canon. I know a large and very vocal group of fans want there to be, but I don't really agree that there is or that this is queerbaiting.
