bizwank posted:I'm not? I have a small bedroom and was still able to clear a roughly 3x4ft space by rearranging things a little, and that's been enough room to play every game I've tried so far. Yes there a few that need more room than that, but most do not. If "making space for the activity" was a barrier to gaming then everyone would be just playing on their phones/tablets. I have a quest and easy access to a convenient playspace is the number one factor determining how often I use it

Dingwick posted:I got my Quest on Tuesday and while I've been having a blast both with standalone and with Link, it's not very comfortable to wear and I'm paranoid about the Link graphics quality being lesser than the Rift S. I need someone to talk me off the ledge because I'm close to returning the Quest and getting the Rift S instead. Look into the face cushion replacements/accessories. I just got the cheap cloth cover you strap on it so you have something that can easily be washed, and even that took care of things for me.

Boba Pearl posted:Can people recommend face covers for the rift s, after about 2 hours of play, I'm starting to notice the foam / plastic bits irritating my skin, and my eye lenses are fogging up a bit I think any of them pretty much improve things over the default one. The washable cotton cover you strap on it works great for me on the quest and it's pretty cheap, and I've heard the silicon face masks replacements from amazon are actually pretty good too if anyone can confirm.
