So this is cool, got the Quest 2 this afternoon but it gets stuck in an update loop while setting it up. It says Downloading Update 1 of 2, then restarts. Then Downloading Update 1 of 2 again. We've been at it for a few hours. I figured out how to do a factory reset and we got to the same spot and it started looping again. If they had waited and pushed psvr with the ps5 I'd probably have been lining up to buy one but instead took this downtime to build a new gaming pc and grabbed a quest 2.

I remember playing the wwii cod on wii with one of these things: and it was weirdly one of the more fun times I had with any cod game so I'm stoked for the vr upgrade. catching a grenade and throwing it back has been on my vr checklist of wants. the only thing I'm worried about is having to play tethered to my pc, my office space is currently kind of small

Going to try and use it on Myst although it might just be the select games in which I'll just buy Beatsaber or something side question, is the new Star Wars VR "Tales from the Galaxy's Edge" game any good? Haven't heard anyone mention it. Aside from looking like an ad for the disney park im thirsty for more star wars vr stuff

Cleared some space in my office so I can actually move around a little, started going through the humble bundle I grabbed a little while back. Starting with I Expect You To Die which is pretty fun but a little frustrating as some of the controls don't translate to the quest controllers very well. Hopefully I can figure out how to get them to work a little better

Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is only 2 bucks on steam right now. I think the main complaint about the game is that it was short, so probably can't go wrong for two dollars

How is it playing with headphones? Cool or too cut off from your surroundings? I want to try my pc headhpones but the cable is like 10 feet long, I would need to find a small mini 2.5 to 3.5mm cable or use just a regular old pair and get a small 3.5mm cable

What are some other good seated games? I don't have a lot of space right now and mostly play at my desk. I have I Expect You To Die and love that. I own Moss but haven't dove in yet. I got Archangel: Hellfire in a bundle but it seems the single player is borked and the multi is dead. I loved Subnautica 2d so I think I might start a vr replay. Mostly looking for full on singleplayer games that don't require too much horizontal movement, but I'll take reqs for sims, puzzle games, and whatever else ya got.

Yeah im excited about playstion vr because Sony still has a lot of great exclusive stuff and there could be some great games, but if I have to buy a ps5 and an expensive headset when I already have a quest/pcvr I don't see it happening until it's in the bargain bin
