For my first real gaming experience in VR I played some of the Poker Stars (thanks for the recommendation, Jim Silly-Balls) - holy moly was that fun. Helps that I had much better luck than I ever do in real life, but throwing small cows at very drunk people was so great.

Any recommendations of either a travel/exploration game/app or some sort of golf game? Dad b'day present ideas... he has a Cosmos I think.

Re the elite strap for the Quest 2, is there a good reason to go with the one with built-in battery, as opposed to just velcroing a battery pack to the back of the strap?

I think the main difference is that with the built-in battery there is a passthrough to have the link cable plugged into your PC and still have the battery plug into the display, where if you use your own battery pack that will take up the USB plug without the option to pass through the PC connection.

Getting the Quest 2 whenever Costco feels like it - are there any games on the Steam sale that ends today that I should pick up? I'm not into fast action or shooty games, prefer slower puzzle or exploration type stuff.

Skybox isn't working for me anymore, it used to be fine but now when I try to connect it just says 'Network Error'. Have restarted everything, removed files and re-added. Anybody have any ideas?
