That's kind of the point of the New Testament. Jesus shows up because everyone hosed up the Old Covenant with thousands of years of misinterpretation, manipulation, and greed so he shows up to simplify it as "don't be a loving rear end in a top hat to each other." Adding the -ed makes you sound old-fashioned, which means there's the risk of you being an old blowhard like Cornette who stopped learning new things about trans issues decades ago, so just drop it and you're basically fine. I still make a mistake with my terminology or wording from time to time and when I do that little voice that catches it and tells me to straighten up is usually from this forum and WSAENOTSTOCK specifically. And like I really appreciate that patience and understanding and wish you didn't have to go through it and that I could just do better quicker.
