Topicals work for a month on pets because they don’t bathe every day like we do (presumably) so they don’t get washed off. Ingestible tick preventative still requires the tick to bite so there’s a small chance the tick will have time to pass on whatever nastiness it’s carrying.

I have one of those EGO battery operated leaf blowers from Home Depot that works just fine and is really quiet. Even at max blow I get at least a half hour of use and then just pop the second battery in while the first one recharges.
