No but at least every time they show an attempt on his life being made I can imagine, for a blissful second, the attempt succeeding and not having to see his incel rear end in the rest of the show

He’s not an incel though

Ohhh I was trying to figure out what was so off-putting about some of the TMS scenes and couldn't put my finger on it. This might well be it. :allears:

Aniston, and to a lesser but still noticeable extent Witherspoon too, has a lot of digital de-aging going on. It feels like you're watching a Jennifer Aniston Snapchat filter.

I haven't seen it yet, but a buddy who saw F1 in theaters said it's pretty noticeable on Brad Pitt in that.

Idk Pitt looks (and sounds) pretty drat old in F1.

If that's after the filters...

Yeah. Welcome to aging. He’s 61.

There’s literally only a few people in the world who can pull this off even with actor access to surgery and makeup. You have to get lucky. cruise did but it’s finally setting in lately. Marisa Tomei won the drat Megaball lottery.

That’s what I love about Marisa Tomei. I get older, she stays the same age.

Haven't seen her in anything since The book of Boba Fett in 2022 (she's been doing voice work a lot lately), but Ming-Na Wen is 62 years old.

She's older than she was in My Cousin Vinny, but she definitely reached an age and then stopped.

The middle part of Down Cemetery Road was an absolute slog but the last 2-3 episodes picked up a lot (some dodgy CGI aside). I think it would have worked much better as 6 episodes rather than 8.

Apparently there are another three books in the series it's adapted from so hopefully we get more. I could watch Ruth Wilson and Emma Thompson roll their eyes at eachother all day.

I was curious about this (not enough to look it up though) and I am glad we could see more of the show. I really enjoyed it.

But surviving a mine then popping up unhurt is a bit much. And the bus with no brakes?

The whole thing was a slog and two decades out of fashion.
A bumbling comic relief character running black ops for the supervillain, who of course is part of the sinister -shadow government-

I guessed the material was circa 2006 and yeah, it's even a bit closer to 9/11 paranoia than that.

I totally forgot that I watched Season 1 of this. Surprisingly entertaining. It’s an entire season about a hijacking. There aren’t too many ways you can mess up that premise.

You can do a lot with a hijacked plane. How do you keep a hijacked train going without them landing a swat team on the train or just derailing it?

I can't wait to be dragged into this trash again. When towards the end of the show a random background passenger pulled a gun, shot the pilot and took the controls it was such a WTF twist out of nowhere in a show with so much of those already.
They make it look like Idris Elba is taking the hostages, I predict there will be four big reveals going from Yes it's him/No, it's a setup/Yes, he made it seem like a setup/No, it was the Prime Minister behind it all.
