Wow folks, I've come a long way, and we've come a long way together! This is my 25000th post since joining this illustrious, dead gay forum in 2006 (a time when it existed in a state of living heterosexuality). So many posts, so many memories! I'm no longer the fresh faced, unprobated poster I once was. I'm a seasoned crafter of many posts... with a healthy, but not excessive rap sheet. I no longer spring into fights like a young poster, but I can still hold my own. At a time like this I find myself thinking of some of the most memorable posting events over the years... Community Memories - Windows 98 beating someone with a shovel - Doobies Dog House - Star Wars 9/11 - All the other 9/11s - Ralp Ralp Ralp - AATrek revealed as pedo - Gaming: The SimCity, Dragon Age 2, and No Man's Sky threads - The community pulling together for Lowtax's Spine - Defeating Reddit in open warfare via Eve Online - "The Great Toxxening" of D&D circa 2016 Personal Memories - Getting probated for excessive zealotry in the Boobs thread (for you younger posters, that was a thread where we just posted boobs! and it was allowed!) - Probated for mod-sassing AATrek (unfortunately another mod issued the actual probation) - Banning myself by carelessly selecting the "Hot" tag. - Playing horrible game for degenerate grognards "Dominions 4", with goons! - Inviting a goon over to my place to play board games. - Swapping DVDs with a random goon in the SA Marketplace on blind faith, and it going perfectly! - Winning the avatar you see right now in a thread contest. - Buying some rando with like eight posts an avatar, and then watching him suddenly start posting a bunch in character (it was a Star Trek alien) until someone told him to shut up (I assume he's dead now). And there are probably many more, those are just a few off the top of my head. So cheers, goons! Here's to another 25,000 posts and another 13 years! What are some of your favorite forums memories?
