Ron also made a pretty legit apology. Don absolutely refused to apologize. If he had bitten the bullet he'd still have a job (until this summer when they were thinking of gracefully letting him go) And for Don to bitch about being let go on Remembrance Day is proof positive in my mind it was never about the Troops with him, it was all about him.
