Butterfly Valley posted:https://discord.gg/zYj2HwVw I've been doing that one and uhh one called STONKS or something like that (also has ps5 notifications which I'm trying to get for my brother in law). seems like when the 3080s hit I'm always busy though, and when I'm not the furthest I've gotten is putting one in my cart, one time

Toxic Fart Syndrome posted:So, apparently, ray tracing will only be offered on nvidia GPU's for Cyberpunk's launch, if that changes anyone's decisions. that changes my position from unable to acquire to definitely unable to acquire

The Grumbles posted:Edit: having built a Ryzen PC recently for a combination of work from home stuff and games, I'd also recommend swapping out the stock cooler for something better. Even the Cooler Master 212, which is super cheap, will be MUCH quieter than the fan that comes bundled with the Ryzen processors. It made working from home much more comfortable. you mean the Wraith or whatever it is? I was planning on using that for awhile until the noctua i want comes back in stock, but i guess it really doesnt matter if i dont have a GPU unless i want to take this 1050ti out of my current desktop...not sure yet

Thom P. Tiers posted:If you live in Wisconsin and would like to drive to a Miwaukee PC, they have some stock at certain locations right now. Otherwise your best bet is to set up auto notification on the newegg app for the bundles. did you call them or what? i would drive for a 3080

Thom P. Tiers posted:Had a friend who picked up two 3080's from Menomonee Falls today. They are a *bit* overpriced, but they do get stock in. The 3070's are more readily available. So I drove there and picked it up! Thanks a lot man, appreciate your announcement post
