I want to get some Noctua fans for my case and want to make sure I am understanding what I have read about PMW. If I got a PMW fan hub like this one I can connect the hub to one of the PMW headers on the mother board and use sata to molex cable to connect the hub to the power supply and I will still be able to control the RPM of the fans I connect to that hub from the software, correct?

Edit: Just for reference the Ausus Prime X470 is the motherboard I was planning on getting.

Not the most exciting mother board but I just pulled the trigger on this, I think it will do just fine for a few years.

I have been using an older Intel rig I bought cheap from a friend. At the same time I bought that I got a Meshify C and an RX 580 8GB. The set up was running DOOM 2016 just fine until I could save up enough for the parts above. I am going to wait until March to see how the RX 580 does with Doom Eternal before deciding on getting a more expensive GPU or not.

Meshify c has a no window option.

Is the Meshify C the thread favorite?

Its the case I picked and between the reasonable cost, easy of installation feature and good airflow I have no complaints.

Ok so I got my refund today, and I did some last minute adjustments to my build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($174.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 34 CPU Cooler ($24.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($87.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Western Digital Blue 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB PULSE Video Card ($409.00 @ Walmart)
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case ($84.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($105.98 @ Newegg)

I'm just gonna snipe everything from amazon to avoid delays and loss of product, but before I do, is there any last minute details I should be aware of? I swapped out the Corsair case for the thread favorite Meshify C, then added a CPU cooler to the build, and all of my components are compatible with the case. I'll be moving my old hard drives over to the new build for now, until I can get my hands on either some external storage or one giant drive.

Thanks in advance y'all.

The Meshify C only comes with one 120mm fan in the front and spending another $12 for a second fan helps you get the most out of cases https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M9ZI15A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I bought two of these 140mm fans when I ordered mine, they aren't Noctau good but they're reasonably quite and keep the gpu and cpu cool. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M9ZI15A/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 but you can find

Kind of want a new airflow case.. with EXTRA BIG rear end FANS (200mm+).

Looking at Cooler Master H500 but is there anything else for the price ($120) that is similar to consider? https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-MasterCase-Mid-Tower-Controller/dp/B07DRVHBWK
Needs to fit a Noctua D15 (165mm+ clearance).

Thermaltake has the Commander series of cases which have 200mm RGB fans with mesh fronts and sale on Amazon for $110.

If you want the look that those 3 RGB fans in the front give that Cooler Master case think about the Phanteks P400A it is $12 more but you get a mesh front instead of a closed-off front, which will better for airflow.

I am looking to upgrade the SSD my operating system is on. This Inland seemed to be the best deal for a 2TB M.2 drive that used TLC. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X74M6PT/?coliid=IEU8CPFCERE04&colid=1NRN82VFS1TSP&th=1

Also how worth it are M.2 heat syncs like this?https://www.amazon.com/heatsink-dou...ctronics&sr=1-3 I am guessing they are pointless but for :10bux: I thought it was worth asking about.
