And Coruscant's name coming from the books, though that's just the name of a planet, not a whole character. Though Vanth is a pretty minor, though very cool, character from a side plot in the Aftermath books. Also Aayla Secura found her way from the comics into AOTC (and by extension, ROTS and TCW) because George liked the character.
