Just like, cats purring and random people doing stuff in the park in the spring and summer on analog film and mono sound. No known actors. No actors period. Cut up clips of man on the street interviews without hearing the questions.

No more ruining Philip k dick novels though, poo poo is not meant for film and fails horribly.

I want to see The Gates of Fire by Stephen Pressfield made into a movie. 300 is garbage and Pressfield even wrote the screenplay but it never got made. So now all we got in modern movies about Sparta is a fat dude with sword arms and other assorted mutants slamming against bare chested Greeks and the whole thing is just dreadfully slow and I hate it. I also think the same author's Tides of War would make a great movie or two because Alcibiades had one hell of an insane life/career and it's awesome. Diary by Chuck Palhnuik, but with the pacing balanced better. Wanted by Mark Millar, but actually about the comics instead of whatever the gently caress that other movie was. An animated series of The Coldfire Trilogy by C.S. Friedman A competent conclusion to Robotech. Also, what FAU said.

There was also discussion in the MechWarrior thread about a BattleTech series, and I think that if you could get away from some of the dumber and more obscure lore it could be pretty cool. Basically make it 5-10 seasons starting with the back end of the succession wars and ending after the clan invasion.

World Trade Centre 2: Windows on the World. Survivors ends up at Windows on the World restaurant and we watch the whole thing play out to the end from some new perspectives.. We know how it ends. They dont, not at first anyway. As realisation sets in, human nature does its thing in a bunch of riveting ways. Cut to Bin Laden getting the confirmation and hi5ing the gently caress out of his buddies. Turns out Dick Cheney keeled over after some quick maths came up with 8 figures.

I want the The Stars My Destination movie that's been brewing forever to get made just so I can get over crappy it'll be. I also wouldn't mind a movie based on Ian Mortimer's The Perfect King (a biography of Edward III), complete with and maybe mostly about the theory that Edward II had his death faked or had that scenario forced on him without Eddie Jr knowing about it.
