When the price of Bitcoin is falling quickly, this kind of makes sense, at least until Tether implodes and cant be exchanged for actual money.

yeah tether used to be the cutting edge in fintech, but a fake imaginary dollar backed by a fake real dollar is sooooo 2015. nfts, fake assets backed by a vague association with the url to a jpg of real asset are the new hotness. by this time next year it'll just be like random numbers and you want to buy them because maybe someone else will want to buy the same number in the future, like lottery numbers without the lottery
