I spent thanksgiving drinking alone in a filth-filled SRO on an island 3000 miles away from my nearest relatives who include my munchausen's-by-proxy mom who is currently dying of dementia in a lovely retirement home and my medically experimented on sister who can no longer do anything productive and has seizures constantly. My dad basically disowned me for being trans, but not before lying to my grandparents and accusing me of being a drug addict which lead to estrangement from them as well. Extended family just sort of incrementally unfriended me on facebook until they were all no longer in my life. So yeah, thanksgiving kind of no longer a thing for me. Got all the family drama out of the way at once I guess. I'm efficient like that.
