Shoutout to the other Blazing Chrome voter. It's a really good game! It's on Game Pass and you should play it! There's a powerup in one of the levels that I still don't know how to get! I watched a video where I guy got it but I did the same thing and I didn't get it! I dunno! edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55YObYKKezs&t=477s Right here. There's the narrow crawlspace you have to roll through and on the above platform there are powerups. He dies here and respawns up there, but I tried dozens of times and the game always respawned me in the crawlspace. He's playing on easy and I was playing on Normal, but it doesn't seem like that would effect where each of us respawn upon death. I dunno! Harrow posted:If I love JRPGs but tend not to go in for "everything is just cute all the time" aesthetics, should I play the Atelier games? I gave one a try but it really doesn't give me what I want from a JRPG. Very story light and focused on the crafting stuff. Also a kind of weird open structure that was interesting for a bit but I got bored of it.

I'll miss Shovel Knight getting more updates. In a perfect world where it didn't take the devs tons of time, effort, and money I'd love to see campaigns for every single Knight in the game. But I'm sure at this point they're eager to move on to a new project and I look forward to whatever they come up with next.

Endorph posted:They're pretty cutesy but they aren't exactly like, *insanely* bright and bubbly personality-wise? Some of the characters are fairly snarky and there's some cynical humor. They're still mostly upbeat of course but there's a decent balance and back-and-forth in how characters talk to each other. I like upbeat so that sounds like it'll work for me. I'll check out the Dusk ones, then--those sound very much like they're in the kind of setting I really like, if nothing else. Should I just play them in order? Edit: Oh hey good timing, looks like they're just about to release the full Dusk trilogy collection on PS4, Switch, and Steam?
