The Musi app on iOS is great for this, it lets you listen to YouTube audio with the screen off or while you’re using other apps. I love this thread already, just started checking it out. I was kind of into this stuff in the early-mid 90s since I had a couple raver friends who would copy great mixtapes for me. Only went to one real rave though, and at around 22 or so at the time I already felt like I was too old for the scene and do these kids parents know what they’re doing??  I like the premise of the thread, I never liked the light piano rave stuff, the tracks collected here are so satisfying. That said, I do like the old breakbeat heavy stuff too, and haven’t heard any old mixes in a while. If anyone’s got links to old mixtapes I’d love to hear them.
