Prometheus I think is just a hacky franchise reboot attempt, but if you delve into Ad Astra much IMHO it is a deeply insidious movie when it comes to the assumptions and depictions it makes about the near future. Ad Astra was an allegory for a psychological journey, nothing the characters do is meant to be taken literally

So, expanse thread posters. I really enjoyed the expanse. And Altered Carbon, season 1. Is there anything else out there that is cyberpunk plus film noir? I'd count Blade Runner/2049 as along the same lines. I'm open to live action, tv, movies, and anime
