Stuff that reduces REM sleep, which cannabis products tends to do. I think maybe sleeping under the effects of anti-histamines might do that as well. Melatonin should actually promote REM sleep from what I've read. I certainly get weird dreams when taking melatonin.

Caffeine can also reduce REM sleep I think but only some people can sleep with caffeine in their system.

This is a good summary for why the game felt off to me. It's so very Fallout while being kinda not very Fallout at all.

On the other hand it didn't crash or break or do weird poo poo for my whole playthrough so maybe that's ok?

Spiderdrake

That is a shockingly fallout sounding bug

But I mean obviously games have bugs and crash and do weird things, it's just that with bethesda they coast on their old trashfire engine a lot further than is normal. So comparing the two felt positive in that exchange.

But also I think after two decades on SA I think J-Ru is the mod I've enjoyed interacting with the most so people saying he's a bad mod like, ugh.

Also I'm not an easy to please person but I've accepted that putting a ton of expectation on things doesn't improve the experience. Hype is the furthest state from fun. Sometimes it's ok to pay $20 to see a movie that is just a 7/10.

Personally I didn't notice that. What makes you say that in specific? I have largely mixed feelings about TLJ so maybe my lack of affection for it means I don't really notice. I did feel Rose was underused in this movie, but most of the cast felt underused.

To me the movie just seemed to poo poo on everything Star Wars, everything epic or cool, it just took a dump on. Even Sith Lightning looked loving stupid and ineffectual in the end. It felt a lot like watching Alien Covenant to me.

Also yeah I totally loved the cast, the casting was great and I liked their characters. I'm sad to see them gone and how much of their arcs were never really resolved. That element, among others, reminds me a lot of playing 90s JRPGs.

FYAD was fun eons ago cuz you could poo poo talk mods and admins, and they just sort of said "whatever it's FYAD". Also, a lot of goatse. A tremendous amount of goatse. It was also very much about how bad the character design of Final Fantasy X was and topics of that level of irreverence. Then it shifted from irreverence to irony around the time idiot kings became a thing and I just lost the plot.

I was always kinda surprised Lowtax put up with it so long. But I've been around for multiple paradigm shifts of like, GBS being a free for all, to GBS being very restrictive, then back again and now we're kinda going back to him coming down on the bullshit.
