I don’t understand the appeal. Why let google, amazon or apple spy on you even more than they already do? I get that they already know so much about us all, but these are devices that openly spy on you. Surely it is obvious that there is a reason they are so cheap. People put these things in every room, including the rooms of children. Why would you do that? It seems insane to me. Are you one of these morons? What tangible benefit does being such a fuckwit provide for you? Why are you so stupid?

I have an Echo and I don't even really know why, I occasionally tell it to play SiriusXM radio or TuneIn radio while I'm cleaning or cooking but other than that it's really loving pointless, it can't search for information for poo poo, and controlling my lights is easier from my phone but that isn't ~~voice control~~ which I guess is supposed to be better for reasons

5 point one is supposed to be surround sound, but when you talk about accuracy of sound position a switching strobe really isn’t a point, so it’s always like a tilted oval and stuff sounds like where it’s supposed to be sort of, but like a vacuum tube and dipole setup in stereo would actually create a radiant sound field and a natural depth and position of sound. Like the point is real when there is a sound field, with a resonant gain structure, instead of decimating and then simulating integrity of the copy.

For the able bodied it's good for setting a timer hands free in the kitchen when cooking or whatever, fairly pointless otherwise. They are great for disabled people to control lights etc
