 Last year I enjoyed my replay of OG, got to temple of the ancients, then got hosed by LaunchBox and RetroArch banishing my save file from existence. Serves me right in using those. I really want to continue but I can't find the will to redo 1.5 discs.

lol what the hell you're right. for some reason i thought disc 1 ended after midgar. still though, at this point it'd feel like a slog to get through everything up to that point again.
