Just finished Mandalorian S01 finally loving ha ha ha what the gently caress Disney - just loving decanonize the entire Sequel Trilogy and start from scratch with the Mando team. Jesus gently caress me christ the Imperial Remnant was far more intimidating and badass than any loving single loving thing the First Order threw out. Such a perfect cast too and everything, and you actually learned more about the galaxy through just watching the show. That's the best Star Wars has been in nearly 40 years. Just fuckin' fantastic, even the "bad" episodes were still a ton of fun. How the hell did this get made because it puts the Sequel trilogy to absolute loving shaaaaaameee

The Rebel drop trooper lady could have a show/movie all on her own about doing sickass commando stuff. The New Republic prison ship thing was really neat. Werner Herzog's character was loving rad. The Grand Moff at the end kicked rear end, and that loving Flame Trooper was a thousand times more intimidating than anything the First Order shat out. I hope at some point they go all in on the Death Troopers being reanimated soldiers. The entire arc with the IG unit was just loving incredible. All the Empire hardware falling into random hands... so much you can do with that. I had so much loving fun watching this show! It was so good!

You come to root for these characters and how their relationships grow over the course of the story. It’s solid stuff. It’s also why nothing since Mandalorian has been able to recapture that same energy. Mando has a gang of misfits from diverse backgrounds thrown into a lovely situation who eventually come together to bring down a horrible enemy, and those rare character moments are really powerful. Instead, we get,  Christ!
