So I forgot the thread started over and haven't read any of it, but is anyone else worried about Rich Evans's apple juice abuse? Especially given his 'betes.

Hey, uh...why did the imperial throne room have open shafts that led straight into the giant antimatter death ball of the reactor? I get that it was still under construction, but I feel like they should have put up some drywall there.

I'm not Cinemasinsing this, I must have watched that movie fifty times as a kid and it never crossed my mind until now, lol.

Was it official that the shaft actually led to the reactor core of the Death Star? Because the core is something like 60 miles away from Palpys throne room, and he only fell a few hundred feet before exploding. I think it was more of a decorative shaft, 300 or 400 feet deep at most. Really aligns the chakras of the room, ties it all together.

Although it would've been a fun scene if it truly did lead to the core, and the took the distance into account. Palpys just falling forever, and then 10 minutes later in the movie as the Falcon flies into the core to blow it up, Palpy splats against the cockpit windows and scares the poo poo out of Nien Nunb and Lando.

Secondary reactor? He got thrown into an energy thing, this much is clear.

From the TPM Plinkett review, the thing that I wondered after he said "what does this power, the universe?!" is why there's a power plant attached to the royal palace.

Honestly, in those romcoms with Drew Barrymore I thought Sandler was basically charming. It's not that he's talentless, just that he's a hack fraud conman who funnels all the production money to himself and his friends then turns in worthless poo poo if he's given any control.

e: on reflection, this is also what I would do, but I have no talent and am also a bad person.

If you regard all Star Trek movies as fundamentally a joke, it's fine. But as drama, Khan quoting Moby Dick is so much more powerful than the casual Shakespeare quotes.
