Haven't drawn anything in like a decade but I picked up a tablet for cheap recently and these are some of the stuff I've doodled. Anna May Wong, couldn't quite capture the look on her face  David Bowie. His face should be more narrow I think, idk. Just looks like some guy.  Unfinished drawing of Godzilla driving a car. I think I'm more interested in drawing Godzilla than I am the car. e: drat you guys are actually good

Also - in order to really get these results I have to burn over masking tape to stop the soot from getting everywhere all the time. Then there is the *very* tedious job of getting all the tape off after and cleaning the left over soot even after the tape is off.  ...but hey... at least the lines are clean... mostly.

Thing is - is it worth the effort? I mean - it's FUN - but I have never made anything any good with it. Just ends up being very frustrating. Maybe I should try again. Here was a stream I made visuals for last night. I'm trying to actually learn how to paint. I'm doing a lesson on values and it's pretty hard! These went as well as any others I did, but obviously still not great. If anyone has any feedback on how to get better at seeing and understanding values (other than just keep doing exercises), I'm open to it! Also this was just supposed to be quick values blocking, I didn't try to pay attention to perspective at all, so some of these are a bit wonky.
