Hidamari Sketch is definitely worth a look if you want Slice Of Life - up there with K-On as one of the codifiers of the genre. New Game is also very good - especially in its second season - and also more focused on young adults than high schoolers, which is fairly rare for the genre.

there's some crossover because larpers can take their hobby seriously enough that the fights get very close to hema combat, and people who do hema can sometimes throw in some roleplaying for fun and flavour

i hung out with a bunch of larpers once and they told me a story about how in the big field battle multinight event they simulated cavalry by the cavalry loudly announcing they were cavalry and everybody had to move slower until they passed by since they couldnt get hold of horses and i think back to that and it makes me smile sometimes
