I didn't take band when I was a kid, so I can't read those notes in the strip. I knew plenty of kids who were in band, though. The tune that they swore was supposed to be Three Blind Mice always sounded fully recognizable in the first line and turned into absolute garbage in the second. Maybe that's the version Nancy is playing.
