I also defended my master's thesis (Humanities). The difference between the MA and the PhD is that an MA was read by an internal committee whereas the PhD had an external examiner.

At first I was going to ask if Dustin was doing a paid advertisement for Peloton, then I was reflecting that if I were working as a marketing manager I'd be more likely to pay Dustin not to mention my product, but then I realized that there's probably a strong overlap between bougie people who would drop money on a Peloton bike and people who think that Dustin is funny. Given the number of people who regularly read the comic, buddy probably made a solid twelve bucks from that product placement.

That Dustin is actually possibly the best Dustin I've seen. If you get past the "wine moms" thing, it has a bit of a joke and it doesn't come at anyone's expense via toxic boomer bullshit. The same gag would work for any type of glass and beverage. Mind you it's still mediocre execution. It would work better with no dialogue after the first frame.
