Zits debut in 1997, meaning 15 year old Jeremy was born in 1982. Wikipedia says Gen X began in the 1960s and ended somewhere from 1977 to 1984.

Most comics employ a sliding past as the present stays present.

Look at the Simpsons for the most obvious example

In any other story, a parent being worried about their kid practicing safe sex wouldn't be weird.

But given how this is a) mama's boy Gunther being confronted by b) Gunther's mom, who c) looks exactly like Gunther, in this d) comic strip where every character is mentally a loving high school freshman, it's pretty creepy.

Yea the post office is fine from every interaction I've had. FedEx is the only package service I often have a beef with since it feels like they just drop my stuff off at the post office to begin with and take years to get here because they have to go to the main hub for some reason. This often involves driving past me all the way over to another city and then sitting there for like 2 days.

FedEx makes me want to commit murder literally every single time I am forced to deal with them.

And the D&D group only had d6s, what the heck. Edit: And a deck of cards too.

I am overly upset about this!

D20s could be life, poison counters, or any number of things

We can't see every part of the DnD table, so there could be other dice. The DM is teasing his party with a Deck of Many Things.

The way some of you people talk about certain strips is a but worryng. Character assassination because Team Evans had something against Bets for being a Strong Woman.... You know she's a fake shallow character that they literally invented from nothing fairly recently, right? She's literally whatever they want her to be. There's no one there to defend. It's not even like she's an established beloved character like Picard

I mean say Luann sucks, sure, but I don't get the form the criticism is taking. This is in no way a defense of Luann.

Weird, you didn't know all of someone's character traits upon first meeting them?

Some people reveal their weird quirks over time to new folks. This honestly seems perfectly normal to me. Maybe one of the most normal things in Luann in a long time.
