So Pastis gets complaints from newspaper readers for bad puns or morbid jokes, but McEldowney gets a dude hard from watching his wife breastfeed in a tight dress and does a restaurant handjob comic spanning multiple days and is just fine. Funny world, this place.

I figured on her part it was more being the writer she has the context for the characters and their whole arcs into adulthood so it was easier for her to just slide down the timeline whereas for everyone else it was a major curveball out of nowhere, not that she was trying to be creepy about teens. Ah, I actually didn't know that! The poo poo I was read made it sound like they went full porny with it, but that's what I get for believing anything on the internet.
