I definitely see it as a comedy, but you're right, it's probably also a pretty realistic vision of how a space cruise would go if run by a real 21st century company, except with less slavery.

The Sonic games are bad, even the Genesis ones. Video game movies are bad. The sonic movie is almost certainly reaaaaaaaaaal bad. I might watch it for Jim Carey though, on video obviously. I kind of enjoy Picard, it's the movie Picard, not TNG Picard, and they've utterly destroyed what the Federation was and what Trek was about, but whatever. I wish he'd kept the dog though.

I'd be willing to bet that in the series finale they're going to pull the "it was a dream the whole time" trope and the last scene will show him saying "Here we go" and he shoots Bateman instead. I think you put orders of magnitude more thought into this than the show did.
