I wasn’t so hot on the first episode of Messiah, but I also don’t think you can call it anti-semitic just because there is an Israeli character who is a jerk.

The Office at its best is like twenty times funnier than Parks and Rec at its best. and that isn’t a diss on P&R, which I love, and which does have the better characters. But I’ve also been rewatching Office recently and I laugh out loud so much more than I do with Parks.

Hot drat this thread is better than most tv I've seem lately. So was there anything at all good new on network TV this fall? I didn't really have a chance to see.

Evil, Emergence, and Stumptown are the best network dramas since like, Hannibal. All are worth giving a try.

As far as comedies, there’s some promising ones but nothing fantastic. Perfect Harmony is the most promising one still on the air. Sunnyside ended up being my favourite after a weak start - it had some real early Community vibes - but it already got cancelled.

Yeah I’m quite enjoying it so far. Glad only the pilot is that length though. The writing for the autistic girl is very good.

Just finished rewatching TVIV’s #1 show of 2019 Chernobyl and it really is a fantastic piece of work. Maybe I should have put it in my top 10

4 episodes in and I still can't get over how bad the video quality of Doctor Who is this season. I'm not even sure if it's a full 720p at this point as aliasing is readily apparent on any horizontal lines. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me this was mastered to PAL standards. Color is muted and dynamic range is nowhere to be seen I'm watching copies purchased from Vudu but the streaming from the BBC-A app looks even worse.

It’s no better on BBC iPlayer.
