I like how Warner Bros has made a hundred direct to video animated features based off their comics and comic book tv shows, including some pretty bad BTAS/DCAU movies, but not one Batman Beyond movie after Return of the Joker. Maybe it's for the best and we'd just get the Batman Beyond version of MYSTERY OF THE BATWOMAN?

How did a Peanuts movie cost 100 million dollars to make
# ¿ Nov 8, 2021 06:58 |
Yeah I was thinking of the old traditionally animated specials there, which absolutely did not cost anywhere near 100 million. I'm not sure why a Pixar-quality adaptation of Peanuts was necessary, but I guess it still made money, and it looks kinda neat if weird. It feels unnecessary though, like a big budget pixar adaptation of a heathcliff comic
