they only appeared to have standards because they had to manually approve of each submission, which nobody wanted to do because it took valuable time away from

then they decided it was more profitable to just let everything in because if it sells they get their money and if it doesnt sell they got their money

The baby brother character is a lot easier on the ears when he's constantly saying MAMAN rather than MOOMIE, but otherwise the English voices are quite good.

Nooooope. Itís way worse than the first, the difficulty is completely hosed. Youíll get splattered by gun enemies from offscreen a LOT. I loved the original and bounced off the sequel right quick.

Katana Zero did a much better job of building upon the Hotline Miami formula. It's not <$5 and only 3-4 hours long, though.

I had no idea that there was a "adult-only sexual content" in my preferences until I saw those straight up 3d porn games in the discovery thing, which I only ever click through during a sale anyway for penny cards. I knew about anime titties but jesus.

Maybe I'll check it on again if my steam account makes it to 18 years

Pretty funny how some fundie organisation celebrated when they managed to ban some mild softcore games, but then couple of days later Valve went: "Actually anything goes from now on"

Obnoxious Little Boy is the only character I found unpleasant to listen to, but it isn't helped by the fact that he kind of a little poo poo. Like most little brothers are.

Iím honestly surprised to see the Steam reviews be so positive now, I remember at release it went over pretty poorly. The difficulty felt like with was a romhack of the first one made for people that could beat the original in their sleep.

It also emphasized guns a lot more than the original, even at the start of the game- I really preferred the melee combat so that was really disappointing.

I almost skipped HM2, because several people posted opinions like this, but IMO it's not really that bad. Some open levels can be annoying, but I didn't find it particularly difficult compared to the original game.

I even missed that there was an aim lock for guns/throwing weapons and managed to beat it without it.

If I remember correctly it was just HL1, its expansions, and the semi-official mods like CS, TFC and DOD. CS:S launched shortly before HL2 as well.

There are some cool new things but overall I'd say Hotline Miami 2 isn't nearly as tight of a game as the original. The level design feels really really bad in some areas with wide-open spaces and enemies who can snipe you from offscreen. It also just drags on at certain points , with missions feeling samey and checkpoints being too far apart. It's maybe worth a play if you love the first game and want more, but otherwise just get the original.

Hotline Miami 2's a wet fart when it comes to level design (which kills a large part of it dead) but it tells its story really effectively

Yeah p much, although i'll say it has some of the best as well as worst levels in the series, and the soundtrack is even better than the first

Above post answered the question, but just so you know-

The nerf crossbow is up there with the GLOO gun as far as best utility tool in the game, and it excels at dealing with a certain enemy type that chases things based on motion.

Black advances the pawn then the king, white advances two pawns, black pawn eats white pawn, second white pawn eats black pawn, king eats white pawn, King flails until checkmate. I assume either black had never played chess before or was just being intentionally dumb, because advancing your king like that is obviously suicide.
