Pretty funny how some fundie organisation celebrated when they managed to ban some mild softcore games, but then couple of days later Valve went: "Actually anything goes from now on"

Nooooope. It’s way worse than the first, the difficulty is completely hosed. You’ll get splattered by gun enemies from offscreen a LOT. I loved the original and bounced off the sequel right quick.

I almost skipped HM2, because several people posted opinions like this, but IMO it's not really that bad. Some open levels can be annoying, but I didn't find it particularly difficult compared to the original game.

I even missed that there was an aim lock for guns/throwing weapons and managed to beat it without it.

i blew through like two and a half hours barely even noticing just opening files, flipping screens, breaking the icons, and playing video games. there's a specific reason why i didn't 100% it in one completion but i won't tell you why. i should've played it before the sale ended because i picked it up for like a dollar but it's really fun and you should wishlist it.

it's not a great operating system.

BTW this game is available for anyone with Humble Trove.

That's a solid set.

Also 12 games, so even the people with the classic plan have to choose (max 10).

So what shouldn't be skipped in Humble Choice?

Pony fighting game was an obvious choice to drop, but I still have four picks left and five options:

Not-entirely-serious suggestion: Diamond Dan has some vague similarities, if you want to try an old and pretty crappy, but still kinda fun game.

I tried Project Warlock for 15 minutes (2 levels). That's probably too short time to make the final judgement, but so far I'm unimpressed. Basically Wolfenstein 3D with some light rpg elements, lame enemies, levels and weapons. The stuff in the trailer seems a bit better, so I'll probably keep playing.

Obviously can't judge the whole game on one video but it does show more than the Steam page's video, and I'm happy to say it looks like murdering Nazi soldiers, Commandos style. Looks pretty fun, too.

I'm sure the game itself isn't any more problematic than most of the other WWII games (it's even published by a German company) and I'm a bit amused that it makes me uneasy after all those war crimes I've committed as an American soldier.

gamepass loving kicks rear end if you enjoy playing mid-tier indie games, because they'll throw a ton of them up there. You don't own the games though and they can be removed, and also you can't mod them, which can be an issue with a few games if they're buggy or w/e.

example: gamepass in the last month added Gris, a plague tale, frostpunk, world of horror, and indivisible.
