The slightly simplistic answer is that to build a fully fledged Nemesis system, as opposed to say the Nemesis-lite things you see in Warframe or a couple other games, you have to build that as the game, it can't just be a system you slot in or it's not nearly gonna have the breadth and variety that the Mordors do.

they must have spent a massive amount of time coming up with all those dang orcs. probably had a full time Orc Design squad on the team.

Shipbreaker is you tearing apart ships while in a space dock in orbit in order to fund your escape to a better life somewhere else in human space. You do this by getting into a mild amount of debt to the corp that hired you and tearing apart those ships for their valuable bits. That trailer is all the ways it can go wrong. Also you have to pay for your own cloning which puts you more in debt.

I'll let you in on a little something. The yakuza game, it's not like boxing. The man who gets beat down isn't the loser. The guy who can't tough it out to the end, he's the one who loses. Eh? Don't ya think? In the yakuza life, there are no KO's. I'll tell you what. To me, a finger or two don't mean poo poo. Couldn't give a gently caress... As long as I'm alive, I'll keep getting back up for more. Which is why you... A half-rear end like you's the one thing I can't stand.

It's £1.56 for some absurdly satisfying fast-paced shooting. Basically you go fast and shoot heads to race to the end of a level before your health runs out.

It's presented in this crazy MTV style cartoony way and I fuckin' love it, it reminds me of Pencil Whipped. Kills restore health, it's constantly draining, and at the end of the level you can choose a perk. My advice is to get exploding enemies by Act 2 because you'll run into clusters of annoying drone things that can gently caress you up if you don't pop them fast. Also don't worry about trying to get vertical in levels that allow it, it'll waste time.

Reminds me a lot of Devil Daggers in that while there isn't a ton there, it's extremely addictive and fun and you can play it for 20 minutes and have a blast. Good time killer.

came in here to post about this weird little thing. two bux is not a high price to have your brain melted.

Gay Rat Wedding posted:

it can be enjoyable but solo is twice as hard as multiplayer and it feels very clearly designed as a coop game, as all bosses have adds which work much better when you have two players to communicate and split them up and you have a chance to revive each other, unlike solo where you not only have to deal with 100% of the heat being focused on you (forcing you to spend more time dodging and less time shooting) but you’re also done if you go down once. I think the game could have provided 1 auto revive when solo to smooth out how much more pressure there is compared to multiplayer.

Multiplayer also means more time spent killing monsters and less time spent on boring exploration for resources, since anything your coop partner picks up gets teleported into your pockets too.

yeah, my impression is that they didn't really try to tune it for single player, so if you don't have a group together with voice chat, I wouldn't mess with it. i mean it's free on epic now so try it anyway if you have the time and bandwidth. i bounced off it though.
