Switch on the other hand is great. Nintendo really puts out some of the best and just highly polished AAA games where you can tell they refine refine refine, although their QA/QC is a bit slipping but still way better than every other Big Gaming Conglomerate out there. It's also great for portability where I've repurchased several indie games that I already had on my PC, Casual Party Gaming, Ring fit, etc; and is pretty cheap. I have no regrets getting a PC+Switch combo.

Underpowered hardware with awful QC (Switch shipped with huge controller problems, DS had a lottery where you could pay the same for a unit with an ips or tn screen), paid online sub that requires a phone app if you want to talk to other players, they hate putting their first-party games on sale (scalpers love it tho) and their support outside the US, western EU and Japan is non existant (I live in Poland and still have to use their UK site to buy their games online). Also tons of very polished but shallow games that get great reviews because they are 'charming'.

Nintendo's as awful as all the other big corps, just in different ways.

It's pretty clear that all these delays are due to the new console hardware releasing later this year. No reason to release high budget titles on consoles that are going to be old in a few months.

The weather effects for flying through clouds are really neat too.

It's a great game. Lotsa callbacks to the previous ones in there, too.

King of Fighters and Wonder Boy remake own really hard, both are better than The Surge.

There's a tabletop wargame called Conflict of Heroes that features the Eastern Front and that name sucks just as much. gently caress Red Army just as much as Wehrmacht.

also I am not a fan of fixed camera angles, just navigating this hall is unpleasant. This game is.... very much a curio, and not something I would actually recommend, so now I get why people were all "resident evil 2 is the best play it" instead of "start with 1"

REmake is still very good if a bit antiquated. Guys being unhelpful and sending Jill/Chris alone into the mansion is explained further in the game. I'd say it's really worth playing through these days.

Check out RE3 demo, it unlocks in about 8 hours on steam today.

Is it worth picking up if I burnt out on Yakuza 0 btw? I got to chapter 16 or 17 but by the time I just kind of wanted the game to be done. I should be pretty close to endgame already but haven't mustered the will to finish it, though I keep it on the HDD just in case. I hope the sidequests are as fun/addictive/silly in Kiwami 2...

Every single Yakuza game is worth playing. You should follow 0 with Kiwami 1, tho. Kiwami 2 is also really resource heavy so buy it only if you have a modern rig or play it windowed.

Absolutely not. It makes the Clan Creator minigame a lot easier but CC itself frankly sucks, and they made it take even longer in K2 compared to Y6.
