The first couple seconds of a wrestling theme are very important. They tell you why you should be excited for the wrestler who is about to arrive. A good theme song starts with something that's different from what it is, and that's the stinger. What's everyone's favorite stinger? I made 3 of my favorites the topic title, but there are a lot of really good ones out there.

wwe's insistence on making like every theme have a spoken word stinger is tremendously irritating. rhea ripley's theme is embarrassing. i much prefer when the stinger is integrated into the structure of the song itself, like Bret's WWF theme

As cheesy as it is, Will Ospreay's theme has the perfect opening few notes to let you know who is coming out. I, shockingly, like Mox's stinger(well, both of them), and even thought the stinger part of his Ambrose theme was pretty good. Also long live SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA because come the gently caress on. We'll never hear it again though.  I'm also a fan of Brock's, even though I hate everything else associated with him.

One that I absolutely hate is Finn Balor's demon entrance. It's fine on its own as it builds to the breath catch into his main theme, but then they don't cut out the breath catch that's already at the start of his theme and it kills the whole thing's momentum.

The Okada coin flip is a good tier stinger but my personal favorite is the Tanahashi motorcycle. The wind on Kaze No Nare is also understated.
