Deaths on Everest are an inevitable fact of life, like monarch butterflies migrating for the winter. That the people who die on that mountain pay for the privilege of doing so out of what appears to be a recurring theme of hubris in numbers high enough to be an abstract statistic doesn't make the loss of their life any less tragic or deserving of respect. It is possible to criticise the industry of dying on a mountain without also gamifying victims of that industry. full disclosure: monarch butterflies don't migrate in my country, and one of my friends died on a mountain.

making GBS threads up a mental health thread in the forum for sad people with guns is a bad enough offense without the pearl clutching over the specific fart fetish stories to try and make Avs out to be some kind of pedo who intentionally spread child pornography across the website. That's like when one of those lovely "mah daughter's purity!" dads gets her 16 year old boyfriend prosecuted for statutory and put on the sex offender registry.
