Bleak Gremlin
I realised after I did the survey that the worst fight of the year wasn't on it, possibly the thread didn't get updated? Jan Blachowickz vs. Jacare Souza was worse than Brunson vs. Theodorou because it had the possibility of being good.

Would you be my new best friends?

Israel Adesanya as Best Fighter and Korean Zombie as Favorite fighter might not have been a surprise, but it makes me happy none the less :)

Thanks Mekchu!

And the mercy seat is awaiting,
And I think my head is burning,
And in a way I'm yearning,
To be done with all this measuring of proof.
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth,
And anyway I told the truth,
And I'm not afraid to die.
I didnt vote this year as i never really got into 2019 MMA and didnt want to give uninformed votes. That said Korean Zombie should be favourite fighter every year. First ballot Hall of Famer.

poo poo, you're right. I saw it was nominated for worst event of the year but not also worst fight of the year. That's why it wasn't included in worst fight.

I tried to fill out the form three times and something kept screwing up somehow :(

Ah well, good choices on winners mostly.

I didn't vote this year or last year because I smoke way too much weed to remember anything but I'm gonna try to make a strong effort this year to way more liberally nominate anything that's good/amusing/whatever cuz I feel like we're lacking in that.

Also his name is Chase Hooper and they sent him M&Ms with his loving face on them:

Hey Mekchu - for the 2020 awards if you want help on the back end I'm quite happy to support you. I found some low-effort ways of using Google Forms + Excel to tabulate winners, even through ranked voting. The number crunching + results graphs on the decade-end awards was relatively painless. I can send you the sheets, or the formulas, or do it for you: whatever you like.

I fully recuse myself from running the thread. I've just seen people note in the past that crunching the numbers is difficult, but on my end it only took something like 30 minutes total to crunch the numbers, create the graphs, and get the graphs uploaded to imgur. I'm pretty happy to give 30 minutes of my time if it saves someone else several hours of tedium.

I'm actually going to not do it since I made so many mistakes.

I will however curate the nominations thread and hope Digital Jedi or someone can do another spreadsheet because that was a beautiful tool to have.
