nah back in brisbane for the foreseeable future. Not really out of choice but just because my parents are in moreton bay shire and i'm staying here while looking for work. Wouldn't mind a move back down to the coast but tbh if rent is this hosed up here i'm pretty sure I couldn't afford it down there

Tbf it might still be ok at labrador or somewhere quite far inland where they just built on swamp and nobody in their right mind would actually buy in but gold coast public transport is total dogshit so I didn't even consider it

I think we moved in November and we went from a 2bdr unit pretty tiny to a full 3bdr house with huge yard and shed and saved $30/wk. House was listed at 850 and we got accepted for $600.

Weekend plans: gym tonight, plumbing work around the house tomorrow (adding a new tap tee'd into another tap line and moving a tap to a better position) with the help of some new pipe, going to a food truck at a brewery tomorrow to annihilate some Nashville hot chicken after Bunnings supply run, maybe go to Cabramatta for lunch with an old mate from school on the sunday if he's off work

I'm going to be fighting the kikuyu in the front garden, then doing a 3 hour round trip to take my kid to a birthday party. Then on the Sunday I'll fight the kikuyu again for a while before I have to go to work again on Sunday arvo.

Thought I'd finally pipe up in 'ere after ages having a sticky beak. Bailing on the ticket to a daytime (?) emo (??) event my housemate bought for me because gently caress all that noise, but mostly I have to spend Sunday shidding and farding for a colonoscopy on Monday and that sounds doubly awful with a hangover/comedown. Therapy session tonight was another kick in the balls experience, but the upside is not having to go to this thing tomorrow means I can make a martial arts class and get some of them good, good endorphins to offset the big sads.
