He even thought of coming up with an agreement where he wouldn’t wake me up past 1am and wrote this agreement down. He stuck to it for maybe a week and now it’s been pretty much a nightly thing since then. I am so sick of it and he doesn’t seem to see the harm. So I need to know: am I expecting too much from him? Am I the rear end in a top hat for expecting him not to wake me up in the middle of the night?

Edit to add: I’m a SAHM but I do run my own small business. Also my husband knows that whenever he wakes me up it will typically take me half an hour or longer before I can fall back asleep which is part of the reason I get upset.

Edit to add: he is not unemployed. He has duties to do from home but they do not require a lot of time and he typically does them in between game matches. And he is earning his full income right now. He is present with our kids and spends time with them. He could be better but it’s not like he just ignores them all day. Edit to add: I noticed people wondering what kind of injury. It is a knee injury

I'm 38F supposed to be getting married this week, August 6. My fiance 42M is involved in a vicious, ugly custody fight with his ex wife (divorced 3 years ago). Yesterday they got in a text message fight and he ended up going to her house and making a scene. She had a restraining order put on him on Saturday because he wouldn't stop sending her angry text messages, again. After the judge granted the order he got in his car and drive directly to her house. The police were called and he was arrested. So he's sitting in jail as we speak. However, we were supposed to go get our marriage license that day and then get married 6 days later. Can't do that if he's in jail. So obviously I was left to postpone the wedding. Only now I'm wondering if I should not only postpone the wedding but if I should just cancel the wedding altogether and break up with him. He clearly has issues. But are they the kind of issues we can work through? Or does he need to work through those things alone? I'm so confused.

TL:DR my fiance is in jail, should we work things out or should I leave him?

UPDATE: thank you all for smacking some sense into me and helping me see the obvious choice! I He was released this morning so I texted him and broke up (being physically near him probably not smart). You guys were right, he went ballistic on me. The meanest, nastiest, borderline evil things you can say to someone, he said to me. It only confirmed I did the right thing. And made me glad I live 5 hours away from him. He is a scary person. Glad I'm done with that! Thanks internet strangers.
