Much appreciated! I had low expectations about the genetics section after reading "pure sandy cats are always male" (nope, one colour coats are more common in, but not exclusive to, male cats). But it reads like the writers had a fairly good grasp of the topic for the time. The creationism part of evolution section was as expected, many decades later they tried to teach me the same thing in science lessons.

Good call on eugenics. Unlike evolution, which is presented as a dangerous idea, the only possible negative outcome of eugenics is that it might not work properly? loving Galton has a lot to answer for. Nice to see them acknowledge the importance of environment in development, which they did not in the genetics section.
