Actually shocked by how much this seems to thread the needle between making this audience-friendly but also still feel like Dune. Actually if you asked me I would've told you there's no way this movie is general audience friendly, but I saw it with a group of non-nerdy not-Dune-familiar friends and all but one of them said they could follow it easily and really loved it. Normal people talking about the Bene Gesserit. What a time.
