It is a powerful visual metaphor for my posting.

Is that the reason for the heels do you think? To keep the pant elastic from wearing out on the floor?

This is really more proof that the chuds whining about women entering nerd spaces "because those are for men/boys" are full of poo poo, and women have been part of the nerd community for as long as it's existed.

Statistically you'd think that I'd sometimes fluke into typing a decent post. Nah. Only the most tedious, shitty posts, all day every day baby!

Don't bother engaging me, I don't ever get the hints to fuck off.

Old cosplay is way cooler than modern cosplay. You had to really work for it back then.

Agreed. All these younglings with their EVAs and Worblas and whatevers. Never even had to operate a thermoforming machine built out of a vacuum cleaner and a toaster oven

My recollection is that Gene Roddenberry was hustling the show at sci-fi conventions and would have women model some of the costumes from the show.

The book Inside Star Trek claims that at one point he squeezed himself into a Starfleet costume although the one picture I've seen of him in costume (alongside someone dressed up as... the android lady whose name I cannot recall, from What Are Little Girls Made Of?) had him in a Romulan costume.
