Dieter Laser (aka Mantrid, aka human centipede guy) is such a weird B movie mainstay. He writes screenplays!  My favorite thing about Lexx is the sets. Some of the visual effects are pretty bad, but the sets are so insanely detailed and stylistically distinct. It really adds to the bizarre sexual fever dream feel of the show.
